YU TSUNG HAN

I'm a sophomore of Faculty of Liberal Arts and my major from this spring semester will be International Business and Economics. I'm Taiwanese. I was born and lived in Taiwan before coming to study for university in Japan. I chose to attend Sophia University because the curriculum allows me to learn Japanese while acquiring my university studies. Besides, the university's convenient location also enables me to visit different places in Tokyo and explore Japanese culture.

I am very grateful for the recognition from the benefactors and the opportunity for receiving the Sophia University Benefactors' Scholarship (International Students Studies). Receiving this scholarship means a lot to me because it helps lessen my financial burden and allows me to continue my study in Japan.

As I finish my university study at Sophia University, I will likely to gain strong knowledge in the international business field and hopefully be a trilingual speaker. I would like to utilize these skills and work at an international corporation. Furthermore, since 2020 will be my expected year of graduation and the year of Tokyo Olympic, I'd like to apply my language skills to participate in the Olympic as a voluntary translator. In the future, if possible, I will try my best to give back and contribute to the Sophia Community.
